Island Picnic getaway to Vavvaru' Corallion Lab' - A scenic 30-minute dhoni ride across the vast Kanifushi Lagoon lays the tiny private island of Vavvaru. Opened in April 2013 this is new marine station is dedicated to coral research within the Maldives. There is a purpose built wet lab for tank based experiments which has sea water flow through and a dry lab adjacent with high quality research equipment including fluorescence and stereo micro scope, micro-centrifuges, autoclaves and DNA extraction facilities.

Relax on its soft white beaches and enjoy the salty breeze, enjoy a picnic basket with an assortment of food, snacks and beverages at the beautiful island of Vavvaru will be provided as you spend half a day enjoying the naturally beautiful island of Vavvaru.

Naifaru Island Town

Visit to the Island Town of Naifaru - Naifaru Island is known as one of the most populated small islands in Maldives, and is more of a town island than a fishing or agricultural village type island. More of a bustling community including a local bank and post office and a selection of local restaurants and cafés.

Explore the winding streets and the people of the island, known to be lounging around the beach sides and small alcoves. The people of Naifaru are known among the nation for their distinctly strong dialect and manner of speech and sounds of local music and sights of smiling friendly faces which is common. The Island had some souvenir shops as well as basic local shops to explore and browse.

Trip to Hinnavaru Island

A locally inhabited island with a population of 5000 people, Hinnavaru has a fantastic array of local arts & crafts and plenty of friendly faces. A perfect opportunity to see the lives of the local people who live outside the city life of Male' and interact with the local community. See how people live their day-to-day lives, children going to school and playing in the outdoors.

Sunset Cruise

Set off on the Dhoni westward towards the sun and embark upon this magnificent and magical ride. Watch the spectacular pallet of colours in the sky with an array of translucent clouds all bidding farewell to yet another glorious day in the Indian Ocean paradise. The distinctive Maldivian hues of blues and turquoise transform into romantic red, pink, purple and deep orange as you float across the sea.

Kurendhoo Island

Historical Journey to Kurendhoo Island - Situated on the south-western coast of the Atoll, Kurendhoo is known to have had settlements as early as the Buddhist period in Maldivian history predominantly used as an agricultural island due to the under soil being made of a very hard sedimentary layer of sand stone which holds moisture which had facilitated the composting of buried vegetable matter there is evidence that suggests various gardens in other nearby islands, and were renowned for their shallots.

Kurendhoo island is also known for the tomb of Sheikh Najeebul Habashee; a royal cleric who recited Quaran and other prayers in the then Royal Palace. The tomb is built on the very spot where he died and was buried, and is an attraction to many locals and tourists.
